AUDITION INFORMATION 2010:

What: Coachlight Musical Theatre Auditions

Where: Coachlight Theatre 227 South Van Buren Street Nashville, IN 47448

When: MONDAY February 8th at 7pm and TUESDAY February 9th at 7pm.  Auditioners need only attend one of the audition dates, not both.

Seeking—Musical Theatre Performers (18+) to join our company for the 2010 season. There is no preference as to age, gender, race or type- we are looking for talented entertainers who are passionate about their craft, with a solid work ethic. Looking for reliable performers who can commit to the company for the full season. Tasks will include attending rehearsals & performances for the shows in which you are cast, assisting with show change-overs, outside appearances for PR events as needed, and other related tasks as assigned. Experience/Training strongly preferred, but not required. Must provide own transportation and housing. All positions paid, Non-Union.

Also seeking

Crew—Sound/Light Board Tech: Reliable, experienced technician to work the booth for all shows. Tasks will include running the lights & sound, as well as assisting with setting cues prior to show openings, set change-over between shows, and other related tasks as assigned. We would prefer a season-long commitment. Must provide own transportation and housing. Position paid, Non-Union. Contact us set up an interview time.

Musicians-Piano, Guitar, Percussion, Other If you are a musician looking for part-time work, contact us to schedule an audition time. We are currently most interested in piano, guitar and drums, but are always happy to see any musician interested in auditioning. When you call to schedule a time, we can give you a more specific idea of what you need to prepare. We ask that you also provide us with a current resume and photo, with your most up to date contact info and 3 music or theatre related references.

Requirements:
Performers please prepare 2 contrasting songs (16-32 bars), either Standards or from the Musical Theatre genre. Bring sheet music clearly marked with cuts, etc, and in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. Dress to move, and be prepared for a cold reading. Please bring your current resume and headshot/photo, with updated contact information and 3 theatre-related references with current phone numbers.
